An Anglo-Indian rose-wood and teak Victorian period campaigne style, pedestal partners desk. The unusual pedestals which sit on the original bun feet are in two sections, sitting one on top of the other. There are  four cupboards with working locks and heart shaped escutcheon plates. The eight drawers have two top drawer replacement working locks and keys. The other drawers have had the locks removed and blanked off. The very heavy solid teak (1 in. thick) rectangular top has an inset gold tooled hand stained faded dark green leather top. A unique and masculine piece of furniture.
